Jim IH #50 is the correct color for your "H". The color of the IH red did not change until the 460-560 series in 1958, witch it went to the 1102b and the 201, witch are no longer available. The IH # 2150 did not change form the #50 color until 1962 on the other IH model tractors. PPG concept single stage paint is all that I use and is VERY nice. It is expensive but worth it and is very easy to work with.
