Rich, I have run out of ideas of what to try to do with the tractor. Thanks for your response. I have had suggestions from the forum before and have tried, I think, all of them. I have had the carburetor overhauled twice, checked the float level, the air intake, replace the air filter, changed to a higher octane fuel, changed to hotter spark plugs (D21 Champions), replaced the ignition coil, the points, condenser, distributor cap and rotor and the primary wire to the coil from the distributor. Still the same old thing. It runs fine after the plugs are cleaned or replaced only to foul out again after a few hours of operation (not hard use, but short term use several days in a row). I have noticed one thing about the carburetor is that a slight amount of gasoline drip forms on the bottom of the carb after it has sat for several hours. It is not enough to drip, but it weeps and evaporates. After you start it and run it for several minutes, that dries up and there is no weeping again until after the engine is off for several hours. This has been going on for years, I have had it to a repair shop for mechanics to look at it, and they have not solved the problem, saying that everything seems to check out. But, it is really frustrating to get ready to do some heavy duty field work and you have to make a pit stop to clean the spark plugs before it will run. Sometimes when the plugs are fouled bad enough it barely can be brought home to the garage to work on it. Thought I would swap the carburetor and see if that is the culprit. Thanks for your help!

Paint is another, the modern acrylic enamels are great for resistance to grease and fuel stains, retaining their shine and they last forever; unlike enamels and lacquers . Still another is the alternator. No doubt using the original generator keeps the tractor pure, but for thos
