To learn a lot quickly, read everything on this board daily and don't hesitate to ask questions. The paint question comes up all the time. Issues include paint color, durability, vendors, and paint types. Look through the back pages and archives. Unlike modern cars, where the operators manual just tells you how to use the cup holders and strap in the baby seat, Farmall op manuals go into operation, setup, specs, safety, tires, wheel spacing, and maintenence. My local IH dealer quotes these manuals available to order: Operators $12.25, Service $8.75, Parts $37, Engine Tune $23.95. People on this forum always warn relatively inexperienced operators like myself about safety. I think this is VERY GOOD advice and folks on this forum are always willing help on this topic.
