Operator's manual for 300U says to put same weight in air cleaner as goes in engine: SAE 10 in (cold) winter, 20 in spring/fall, 30 in summer. Probably same will work for yours. Idea is to keep viscosity in right range so that it is light enough to do the job of removing the particles, but heavy enough to stay in the cleaner rather than being sucked into the engine. Believe you're also supposed to clean the screens in the cleaner at each oil change by turning it upside down, filling it with kerosene, letting it sit, and then draining it - don't believe too many people do this, but if you want to get the crud out of the screens, it would seem to be necessary. Oil is sticky enough to keep particles on screens, and it would seem like they'll eventually dry out and go into the engine if the screens aren't cleaned - kind of defeating the purpose of the cleaner.
