The touch control box has a pressure relief built into it. It is preset at 1,500 psi max. It also has a 2.50 piston in it. If I did the math right, that would be about 3 1/2 ton of lift. I would doubt you have that if the control is operating like you say. The fast hitch cylinder is a 3.0" cylinder with no pressure release that I can see. It also has a mechanical advantage with all the arms that it has to work with. Even at the 1,500 psi, it should lift about 5 ton. In the next couple of weeks I will bring a gauge home from work. I want to know how much pressure the pump is putting out. I have now rebuilt the complete system from front to back. The touch control box has check valves in it to allow fast extend (raising) a slow retract (lowering).
