The plowing competition takes place on July 19 and 20, with many other activities taking place during the week of July 15/13. Western Canada International Harvester Collectors Chapter 38 will be exhibiting tractors, trucks, machinery, memorbillia as well as other more regional tractor clubs from Alberta. 30 countries will be represented in the plowing competition, celebrating 60 years of plowing championships, as well as celebrating the 100th anniversary of Olds College. There will be an auction of vintage equipment on July 18, a tractor pull at 3:00 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The web sites will be updated continously between now and show time, so make it a point to check in regularly. This would be an opportunity to make this a family vacation, taking in the Calgary Stampede, Banff and the celebrations at Olds.
