These felts don't look all that bad and the countershaft ones could be re-used. Far as I can tell all they do is keep the tranny-rear end oil out of the final drive. The brake seals are another story. Brakes were wet so I do need something to seal them up. The lip seal idea sounds workable if the shaft surface is smooth enough. Jim
