Start with taking the 4 screws out at the back of the tank. Then go to the front of the tractor and take off the grill. There will be several bolts on either side of the tractor holding the front of the hood onto the radiator support. remove the muffler, breather cap, radiator cap. Take the fuel line off the carb. Make sure the wiring harness is loose from the tank on the right side. Take the wires loose from the fron headlights and pull them back through the inside of the hood. The gas tank/hood assemply should lift right off. If it doesn't, I forgot something and you'll just have to figure out what it is...BB
