I have two low SN 400 LP's and neither has the "C" on the tag. One is a basket case parts tractor and the other is a very original good runner. In fact it's the only one in my pile that has only one coat of paint (what's left of it). It has the larger diameter tank found on the early ones. Neither one has the special "propane" head as found on the later 400 and 450 LP's.
