Ladies and Gentlemen, I thank you for your responses. I believe that what I am looking at would be considered a "complete" tractor that has not run in some 20 years. Grandma can be rather unpredictable so I'll just have to ask about the price. Just for the heck of it, since I don't have the tractor yet, what are some areas I should look at when bringing this thing out of the shed? What I'm planning are the following: Oil and filter Clean out carb and check tank Check and fill radiator Battery (as in put one in) Pull and check spark plugs, rotor and cap. I will also pull the valve cover and make sure that the valves are free. Anything else you'd recommend? Anything with the trans. or hydraulics?
