If it has independent pto the tractor center housing needs removed and some other parts installed. If it has a transmission driven pto, some changes need to be made in the transmission also. Plus maybe a main clutch pressure plate. Plus a IPTO and drive shafts. Maybe would not have to go in the trans, but the pto would slow down when the t/a was used.
Letter or letters after the tractor serial number will tell if the tractor came without a t/a.
