Above are some photos of my rebuild of my 240, which I believe has the same rear axle design as the Super C. As everyone has said, the bearing should tap off . . . yours must be up against a burr on the shaft. A gear puller may help ease it off, but I'd really try to find whatever imperfection along the splined end is causing the hang up before I apply too much lateral force on that bearing. You'll need a smooth slip for reinstalling the entire axle, so best to touch up the splines first. Good luck.
