Ok Guys,
I have just taken apart my 49 cub trying to fix the Pto. It will not engauge every time or I should say most of the time. I understand that the handle throws the collar up to the drive gear. But after taking the handle,pin and collar out and meshing them together they mesh like what I would consider great. I get a grinding noise when I attempt to to the Pto in gear. What is up. Does the the shaft inside the transmission gear box come back any more or what? Check out the pics.
