You should run a compression test and post the readings. If the readings are low you probably need to rebuild the engine. You should then have those cylinders measured for wear by your local auto machine shop. If its worn too much you may need to have the cylinders bored oversize. They won't bore it unless it needs it. Good time to have crankshaft measured for wear. Buy your new bearings from them. It may also need new valve guides. It the old valves are close to 1/32" replace them. Hal
