Does anyone out there use the transmition heater on their 88 series tractor in the winter. I'm having trouble with the pto breaking the spreader loose when it to o degrees an below on my 5088. In the past IV used the 806 and that would break it loose with no problem. IV been told to run the transmition heater to help the problem. They are suppost to shift better to.the pto was gone through last month found nothing wrong. I plugged the heater tonight before milking an checked it 2 hours later and it was warming up nicely. I will see how it acts tomorrow.
