You can click your light switch clock wise to see if it has three positions or 4 to determine which decal to use for it.The warning one does go on the gas tank. The one with the 9 warnings I had lot's of trouble finding out where to put it on my C. Even bought Guy Fays book and it did not help with this decal to much. I posted the same question you did and most folks said to put it on the pto sheild so that is where mine ended up.Still not sure if that is right. Hoped this helped. Paul
