Bob - That's really good Oil psi for a Super M. There were changes in the engines in the Super Series to reduce the Oil PSI. I grew up about 20-25 miles from where these tractors were built. It was common for local dealers to run the new tractors from the plant to their shops as opposed to haul them. The first SM's & SH's my Dad tells me didn't even make it out of Rock Island & Moline, IL. before the drivers returned to the plant due to the low Oil PSI. I have seen more Super H's with holes in the side of the engine blocks due to spun rod bearings than H's. My Super H only has to plow snow for another couple of years until it gets rebuilt. Pistons, Rings, Sleeves, head totally rebuilt, and all the seals & gaskets. It's always been serviced well, been kept tuned, and never really set for long periods where it was in damger of sticking. And has ALWAYS been under roof.
