Farmall C? near South Boston, Virginia

I am trying to locate my Grandfathers Farmall and its last know whereabouts is in the area of South Boston, VA. I think it is a C,my mother has seen my M and does not recall the steering shaft going into the hood. I showed her some pictures and with what she can recall and what my grandfather used to do with it, I'm betting it was a C. She said after he died the tractor was sold from the farm in Nathlie to a gentleman who restored it. This was when I was a baby in the early 70's. Ring a bell with anyone?
