A picture would help. If it is a A or B engine you should be able to find the serial number of the engine and by doing that tell what it is off of. The tractor number on the A and B where the same as the serial number on the right side of the block just below the head very close to being under #1 plug. That may tell you what you have and you may have one like my BA which is half B and Half A
