I went to an auction in NH a couple of years ago. It was an estate sale and among a quantity of other stuff there was a Farmall M and a JD A. Both tractors had fresh sheet metal damage, crushed mufflers, and bent steering wheels and shafts. He apparantly went into the hilly woods behind his house and rolled one tractor. He must have survived that accident because he took the second tractor and did the same thing. He was a young doctor employed by the hospital asociated with Dartmouth College. Don't think a guage would have helped him.
