If I remember correctly from the IH archive photos I have seen, I thought the plug wires were black from the factory...not painted. Guy Fay or others may tell us otherwise. In 60 years, I have to believe the wires have all been changed at least once, but maybe not. Anyway, I have never seen anything other than black...BB
