Thought of something else. In case the t/a planet carrier has locked up, did you try to see if the tractor would go by engine power with the t/a handle pulled back. That would also depend on the t/a clutch releasing like its supposed to. If the carrier was locked that would still let the tractor roll with clutch pedal in as long as the t/a clutch released. It would also lock up power to the transmission when the t/a clutch is engaged. Should still turn transmission when released, handle back.
