Echo what others said, not very many made so limited used parts. Meant to replace the 1086. They made over 47,000 1086's, only a little under 9,000 5088's. With that many hours I would think the trans had been updated but might want to ask. Also thos 88 series bring big money compared to a 66 or 86. The cab is a little better on a 88 than 86. You don't want a factory cab on a 66, they are awful.
