The people trying to sell them are generally REAL proud of 'em. You can get the same power, often in better condition, for a lot less $$$ in a 66 or 86 series.
2WD 5x88 series are pretty helpless if the going gets tough, too. Dad tested a used one one fall. Got in a little mud with the manure spreader, it spun a little, and that was it. We couldn't budge it with the 1066, so we had to go back and get my brother and the 856 too.
Once the tractor was out, we backed the 1066 (2WD, BTW) into the same hole that the 5088 came out of, hooked up the spreader, and drove out without spinning a wheel. That sealed the 5088's fate. It went back to the dealer on Monday.
