Remember the Super H's came out about a year after the Super M's (one reason why there is a lot fewer Super H's) I'm guessing they figured out the HTA would be ready about the time they wanted to come out with the number series or the HTA production run would be so short it wasn't worth the bother. Tractor supply had caught up to demand and IH was starting to loose their lead in sales, they wanted all the hype they could get when they released a new tractor and wanted to release "new" tractors of all sizes at once, kinda like Deere did with the new generation.
