I took the generator and voltage regulator from my 1941 H to Ankeny Auto Electric in Ankeny Iowa. They tested it out and say it all works perfect. It is installed on the tractor exactly like the diagram shows. I polarized it and still, the meter reads that it is discharging while the engine is running. If I hook a battery charger (Neg to the Bat terminal of the voltage regulator and Pos to ground) the meter will show that it is charging. Any ideas? I am getting frustrated.
