You are probably right that the little block is for pressure relief valve. The same setup exists on my Farmall 200. I ran into a very similar item in some parts I salvaged from a junk snowplow mount when I was building a snowplow mount and lift for my old 4wd farm truck. You might check with your autoparts store, and see if they can order a pressure relief valve for a snowplow. These were used to allow the plow to pivot rather than burst a cylinder. Should also work for tractor hydraulics. Anyone else got some input on this?
