Henry, Good find! I was very lucky as I found a completely restored Whirlwind Terracer here in Wisconsin that was for sale by a widow of the man who restored it. She also gave me some historical data, plus I gleaned more from off the web. The Servis Equipment Company in Dallas, TX, built them off the IH #8 plow frame. They also made a few for Ford (have never seen one) and also an economical one without the 3-speed tranny mounted on top. I run my Terracer for a few minutes at our annual Spring Plowday and people love to watch the dirt fly. At the big Badger Steam & Gas show it stops people in their tracks when they first see it. The restorer did a very accurate job with the painting. I have several photos if you would like for reference in your restoration...but I only know how to email them. My email is open. I also have our PlowDay video in my "Favorites" and would send it to you if I can get someone to show me how to send that. I am not very good at getting along with my computer! LA in WI
