I was mowing with a case 222 mower and the deck bearing went, I took the deck off and was driving the tractor with the belt dragging along the ground and it sucked the belt in. belt caught the pto rod and somehow the belt and 5/16” rod wound around the engine. Crushed the covers and took all the fins off the flywheel. I decided to get a cub to mow with next year instead of throwing 300$ at the case. It’s a shame because it was a nice mower. I think the cubs are going to become more popular over the next 20 years as the dollar continues to fall and food prices rise. I think we will see a lot of people trying to grow big gardens. But who knows.
