there is alot of "snake oil" out on the market. However, Lucas is a decent product for what it advertises as. On new engines or tranny rebuilds, I see no use for it. However, on older worn engines or tranny's, it does help. I use 1 quart per oil change. there is at least a 15% -20% difference in the oil pressure at warm idle with Lucas vs. without it.
I am not a fan of alot of the products out there, but Lucas is a decent one. Of all the different products, there are 4 that I like. Lucas products for oil additives. Kroil and Blaster for penetrating oil. Rislone for cleaning out sludged up engines.
All other products I am not impressed with. Some here will say that my preferred products are "snake oil" and that is fine, as each person is entitled to their preferences and opinions............this is my opinion.
