Well ya can try usen a 6 volt starter on 12 volts and if that does not work then your going to have to find some old starter , generator guy and have one built .So what your telling me is you are builting more compression then what my oner buddy's S/MTA is building with the high alt. pistons and a lightly milled 450 gas head has and we are running the STOCK 6 volt starter on 12 volts with a group 31 battery with o cables . and it starts just fine with 30 weight oil in below 0 temps setting in a pole building .
