Para 5 of my Troubleshooting Procedure shows how to by pass the VR functions to see if non charging is a VR versus a genny problem.
Basically if you dead ground the Gennys FLD post that allows for for high max charge by passing the VR function, so if she charges then but NOT otherwise, the VR is bad orrrrrrr ITS NOT WELL GROUNDED,,,,,or the wires open from FLD on genny to FLD on VR (or up to the light switch if it has a cutour relay onky NOT any VR)
Insure the VR and Genny BOTH have good grounds and the belt is good n tight
ARE YOU SURE THE GENNY IS POLARIZED CORRECT??? If not see my procedure!!!!!!!!!
