New to me 53 Super C with springs on the governor to carb rod, pictured. Tractor runs good and seems to have good power and response. I removed the springs and it surges badly at all rpm's. Pretty ingenious/cobbled up fix.
2nd pic shows the cobbled up fuel system. I'll redo that and make sure I have a good consistent flow of fuel.
I seem to have trouble researching the archives. I typed in every different wording I can think of and nothing comes up. Iirc it's either a fuel problem or a governor problem.
Pleases give me some ideas to check if the fuel flow is not the issue.
