What kind of paint for a new muffler?

I just bought a new muffler for my H from one of the online parts stores. It looks real nice and fits well. Of course it had a sticker on it with the part number. I started to peel it off and it is one of those that doesn't come off very easy. After I tore most of the paper off I just had the adhesive left. I thought, I've got some acetone, that will take the gummy stuff right off.... well it took the paint right off too. I'm not sure what they paint those with, but it came off super easy.

So, I guess I need to paint my brand new muffler. Any paint suggestions? I'm thinking something in a rattle can.
