Pat,
This is a job you CAN do, but it will be much easier if you have the shop you buy the tires from do the work. They are equipped to do the job and it'll take a lot less time and you won't be hurt or even completely worn out when it's done. I recently did two rear tires on a smaller tractor (28" rims) and they were all I ever wanted to handle. I finally had to give up on one and took it to the tire store to get the old tire off. It took driving the front wheel of the pickup onto the sidewall to break it loose, then the tube was rusted tight to the rim and I just couldn't get it loose. The tire shop had it off in 5 minutes.
