1946 'M' Farmall

Just purchased a 46"M"(112499)at our last show. Orginal condition. It has a U5 industral engine. It has a dip stick on the rt side and an access plate on the lt side for a fuel pump. The head has a stamped number(6722) on the lt rear. Is this the motor serial number and can it be related to a year? The normal sn boss for a "M" motor is blank.

The PTO seal is leaking a yellow fluid. Lots of water in the differential case. How much grease do I refill the differential with after removing all that grease/water. I couldn't find a fluid level check plug on the case.
