Shop Mule help please.

I just bought a Shop Mule A14. I have wanted one for along time. It has a few things wrong with it. The clutch and throw out bearing, hood is beat up, needs a decent set of fenders, and the engine had been changed and they used what i call a skid engine which does not bolt up properly. Should I consider buying another model A tractor and make a very nice shop mule, or just buy the parts? What do think? Im not for sure as to what year these shop mules were produced so therefor im not really for sure what year model A I should be looking for? Any help would be appreciated! I live in Evansville Indiana. Thanks!
