Don't let him fool you, lil H. The Red recommends starting and warming up a tractor every 30 days or so to maintain them in top health. The kind of abuse you have experienced is not rare, however, tractors around here see it all the time. But you are a Farmall and you are tough, surviving abuse with a minimum of effort on your owner's part.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
