Yeah, but it's fun. Jack up the front end and remove the wheels and shaft. Then buy a few of the seals. (You'll see why shortly.) Then you got two choices. Go to the oldest guy at your Case-IH dealer, and ask to borrow the old IH seal puller. No luck? OK, youhave to invent your own seal puller. You have to gently pull the seal in from the bottom. I built a gizmo out of all-thread, various sizes of sockets, washers, nuts, duct-tape, what-all, that pulled the seal in and centered the seal in the bottom of the opening. Then I cranked on a nut on top, and slowly pulled the seal in from the bottom; NOTE: The U-shape faces up, so the oil/grease fills in the U-shape. I crushed the first seal, I bent the second seal, and third time was Charm. I then whipped up 50-50 blend of 90 wt. and red wheel bearing grease, and poured tdhat in for an oil. I'd never done this sort of thing in my ife, but it worked great.
