Finally got around to looking into it, and the sound is still there even with a new muffler. I adjusted the valves and checked compression: 120-130PSI on all cylinders but the plug for #2 was wet with oil. What now?
Can I run a hotter plug? It has D18Y in it now so I could go up to a D21 right? If I do that, do I run the hotter plug in all cylinders or just #2? I can leave the tractor sit until I can afford major repairs if needed.
