Last year I bought and rebuilt an 856 with the TA eliminator kit installed, it had run for many years on a ranch as a FEL tractor only, so a TA was of little use to them. Actually for light use like a FEL tractor where 8 gears are plenty, the TA actually makes shifting harder, especially in cold weather where cold oil in the TA causes extra drag on the transmission and clutch which causes harder shifting, so in some cases, it is not missed.
