We forgot the Super MTA in there, too. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of progression through common parts. Like on the A series, they all had the same drop axles and on the C series, they had pretty much the same rear axle housings from the C to the 404. On the 656 , my mechanic buddy always says their transmissions were an updated 560 rear end. No doubt the 806 model replaced the 560, but no common parts to be found between them. It`s all how you interpret the question, I guess !
