I have a 340 that I tried plowing with today with a C20 2-14 plow. Plowed good, except when I pulled it out of the ground the latches would open and actually the plow pulled out one time. Found out that my 340 uses the large Fast Hitch points, and the C20 plow has the small ones. There is an 1/2" difference in the hieght of the points. Looked in my parts book and found that IH, in their wisdom, had filler plates, Part No. 523387R11. They slide in the bottom of the Fast Hitch on the tractor and make up the difference in the height. They're held in by a pin. I'm thinking they measure 1/2" thick by 1 1/4" wide by 11" long with 2 holes in them. I'm going to make a set, just wondering if anyone out there has a set to tell me what the actual dimensions are. It says in the book, use them if IH says it's alright. Just wondering what plow had the big points (2 bottom) that was made for the 340? Thanks and sorry about the long post.
