It sounds like maybe $800 range. Location, maintenance, tires, etc all play a big part in price. I will say that if the tractor is listed in the auction sale flyer for the auction or the auction is already booked, you will probably have to wait until the auction. Technically it is bait and switch tactics if something is listed then not sold sale day.
