Yikes!! I'm looking at a B right now myself and am interested in hearing the answers you get. To be frank with you, for $500 I would walk away. As a matter of comparison, the one I'm looking at has 1 new rear tire, the other good, recent paint, runs well, electric start changed to 12V but with the original 6V generator and regulator with it, a two row pull disk, 5' pull bush hog, and part of the cultivators and he wants $1300 (says he is firm).
