SN 20814SJ, 1955 Farmall 300 in a few pieces. I bought the tractor and the dolly for $350, a deal of a lifetime I know. I bought the tractor for the rims and (front) tires to help put me grandpas H back together. After thinking about it I might try to get it back running on the cheap if I can.
Owner said he was mowing hay and left it in the field overnight, someone took out the number 1 plug and dropped two 1/4 in nuts in it. He tore it down and found the nuts and never got around to putting it back together. That was a couple years ago and its been in the shed ever since. The TA is stuck on the high side.
I know I'm missing several parts, 4 push rods, generator, throttle lever, tin work.
What do you guys think, try and make it a runner again or part it out?
