Mark, you have gotten good advice from others on your current problem. I can't add anything to what you have already been told, but I do have a '58 350 hi-utility, which is the same as yours except it has 38 inch rubber on the rear and raised front spindles to give it more ground clearance. If you have other questions I'll be glad to try to help. I spent 4 months getting mine in running order after I got it so I have been inside quite a bit of it. I can't promise I know everything about it but I also operated one in the late 50's and early 60's so I have had a bit of experience with them. I hope you will be as happy with yours as I am with mine.
