Lots of them mounted like Wardner pictured with a extra pulley in front of the regular crankshaft pulley. Fan spacers were used and fan housing was cut for clearance. This pump pictured is mounted with a homemade bracket and the extra pulley and fan spacers used. Wanted to make a mount for pump to place it to run off the regular fan belt like some W series tractors in the mid fifties did. But finding a pulley the correct size and thinking the belt would need to be pretty tight because it would contact less than half the pump pulley changed my plans.
