I don't think it was a dealer option. We drilled and taped all of our Farmalls (B,M,450 and 706) about 30 years ago.I would give them about 5 pumps of grease once a year and may do it more often depending on how much the tractor was used.I got the idea from JD A and D and Farmall F-20 which came from factory with grease fittings. After putting fittings on the Farmalls we have never had to replace any front wheel bearings.
