Recently I decided to take on the task of restoring my late grandfathers 706 diesel. I believe it is a American diesel with the pump on the right side of the motor. Anyways, this tractor has started hard for so many years. It seems like you press the glow plug and hold it for a while and it still doesn't like starting the best. I replaced the glow plugs last year and it didn't really seem to help too much. Is this pretty common on these? It isn't a real high houred tractor either but then again I have yet to have good luck with 2 6 volt batteries. Thank you for reading
